About the team
Reporting into the CMO, you will lead our talented Brand Marketing team, consisting of 5 highly motivated and eager marketeers, social media executives and copywriter. You will also be closely working with the Senior Performance Marketing Manager and Creative Director.
Together you will be responsible for engaging and growing our consumer base by turning sport fans into active bidders and growing the MatchWornShirt Brand.
About you
As the Brand Marketing Director you are responsible for creating our brand marketing strategies, initiating marketing campaigns and activations and own the process end to end. Your work helps grow and position the MWS brand as the most premium brand for collectors globally. You are the driving force behind our talented marketing team to help them get the best out of themselves.
This role requires a well-rounded brand marketer with expertise across all the various marketing functions, always looking for opportunities to elevate the brand and eager to raise the bar.
Your role and responsibilities include
Initiate and drive execution for MWS brand marketing campaigns
Identify new opportunities in the market to expand the impact of the MWS brand
Create consumer activations in key markets
Define key performance metrics for our campaigns and track these
Actively seek out new and different ways to reach the target audience and keep up to date on modern marketing trends
Work closely with our creatives on content development and with our technology team on data and analytics
Lead our talented marketing team and work closely together with our Head of Marketing on strategic decision making
Work with key stakeholders to develop the smart and efficient ways of supporting the brand
Job requirements
We are looking for the following skillset
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics or relevant
7+ years experience in Brand Marketing
Native level in Dutch, both written and verbally is a must
An EU passport or valid working rights for the Netherlands
Affinity with technology/automations is a plus
A deep knowledge, understanding and experience in all marketing fields. Digital, Creative and Influencer Marketing
Experienced in building brands through surgical, consumer centric marketing activations
Experience in briefing and working with creative teams, internal and external
Experience managing a budget and maximising marketing ROI
Good project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
Great team-player who is innovative, agile, positive and can work under pressure
You are creative and convincing and you like taking initiative
You are ready for a step up, and you're hungry for personal growth

Our procedure consists of the following rounds:
Introductory video call with our Talent Acquisition Manager (± 20 min)
Assessment and personality questionnaire (± 120 min)
In-office interview round 1 (± 45-60 min)
In-office interview round 2 (± 45-60 min)
Before the in-office interviews we request every candidate to complete a personality questionnaire, which gives us insight as to how your personality could add value to the team.
